Professional Supervision
I provide professional and clinical supervision to Speech Pathologists. I am passionate about evidence based practice and love helping early career professionals. I am also interested in how transformative supervision can help us to unlock psychological safety and wellbeing in the workplace. I have completed additional training with Michelle Bihary and use this to support my practice.
Supervision sessions are held in the clinic space, or via Microsoft Teams. I offer once off or recurring supervision sessions.
Areas of (extra) experience for a once-off session:
AAC - Setting up high-tech AAC, exploring options, feature matching for the client (all ages)
Feeding - from infant to child I am experienced with transitioning home from hospital and supporting positive mealtimes from a neurodevelopmental perspective, understanding enteral feeding from an SLP perspective, dysphagia, mealtime management plans, supporting implementation of feeding therapy, communicating with parents about their child’s feeding challenges & more.
Speech sounds - I am a speech sound disorder nerd. I have used PROMPT, DTTC, ReST, minimal pairs, multiple oppositions and much more. I can help you analyse and understand the speech sound sample and help with creating a schema for speech sound assessment and therapy moving forward.
NLA / gestalt language processing - I have used Marge Le Blanc’s framework in practice and completed Meaningful Speech training. I am passionate about empowering connection and conversations with little ones by setting them up for success with the language models and targets we choose.
